Principales Obligaciones

HEAD OF BASECotabato PHILIPPINES ACF SPAIN as a  part of the ACF International Network (ACF-IN),  is an international organization that try to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, especially during and after emergency situations of conflict, war and natural disaster, acting in  three areas:  nutrition and health , food security and water and sanitation. ACF-E has carried out its first exploratory mission in Maguindanao province in August 1999 Currently ACF-E’s humanitarian assistance in the Philippines has mainly focused on the consequences of the wars that had erupted in Central Mindanao between the MILF and the Government of the Philippines in 2000 and 2003, with various donors’ contracts (ECHO, OFDA, EC). Those recent wars had displaced around 600.000 people, in a deeply-rooted conflict, that took a violent means since the 70ies. Objective 

  • To Manage  the human resources of the base following ACF policies guidelines and procedures
  • To  Manage of the administrative/finances issues of the base following ACF policies guidelines and procedures
  • To Manage the logistics of the base following ACF policies guidelines and procedures
  • To Manage the security of the base (in close coordination with the Base logistician).
  • To Represent ACF-E in Cotabato base and insure the respect of the ACF-E Charter in the daily work in the base
  • To facilitate the coordination between the different departments in the base (Admin, Log, Watsan, Foodsec., Emergency) and between partners, stakeholders and technical governmental departments (especially steering committees of projects)
  • To ensure that all program activities are implemented within the time frame in coordination and as agreed with the technical coordinators.

Requisitos

Profile  

  • A strong knowledge of Admin and Log procedure is compulsory
  • An experience of Head of base with integrated project management  (multi-sectors) with NGO is required (with ACF – network preferable)
  • Experience of work in other developing countries (with experience in program management & coordination) is absolutely necessary.
  • Experiences in both, emergency and development project would be an asset.
  • Experience in management of volatile security contexts with capacity to face a stressful environment
  • Good analytical skills and ability to deal with partners
  • Ability to be flexible in terms of planning
  • To be well organized and rigorous
  • Experience in staff management,
  • Team spirit and good communication qualities
  • An experience in Asia – Pacific would be an asset.
  • A commitment of 12 month is required,
  • English : COMPULSORY
  • Spanish : An asset
 

Condiciones Laborales
