Principales Obligaciones

Head of Project / Head of BaseFood Security Project, Tandag – Philippines  

ACF-E’s humanitarian assistance in the Philippines has mainly focused on the consequences of the wars that had erupted recently in Central Mindanao between the MILF and the Government of the Philippines in 2000 and 2003, with various donors’ contracts (ECHO, OFDA, EC). Those recent wars had displaced around 600.000 people, in a deeply-rooted conflict, that took a violent means since the 70ies

 Functions: 

  • To coordinate all activities of PAGLAMBO project in Surigao del Sur and ensure its appropriate implementation.
  • To plan and supervise in the field the monitoring and evaluation of all the activities/results/objectives according to the logical frame works of the project.
  • To manage the human resources of the project team
  • Management of the Administrative/finance issues of the base
  • Management of the logistics and of the security of the base
  • To Represent ACF-E in Tandag base and insure the respect of the ACF-E Charter in the daily work in the base
 

Requisitos

Profile of the expert:

 ·  University Degree in Agronomy with additionally development studies (specialty in Agro-forestry is a plus).

·   An experience of Food Security development program Management is compulsory,

·  A strong knowledge of Project Cycle Management is compulsory·         Previous experience in dealing with Log and admin procedures is compulsory

·  At least 4 years of experience of work in other developing countries with NGOs (with experience in program management & coordination) is absolutely necessary.

· Experience in management of volatile security contexts with capacity to face a stressful environment·        

. Good analytical skills and ability to deal with partners ·         Ability to be flexible in terms of planning (natural or man made disaster in the country may imply rapid trip and therefore adaptability)·        

. To be well organized and rigorous, Experience in staff management, Team spirit and good communication qualities, to have Common sense.

·    An experience in Asia – Pacific would be an asset.

·    A commitment of 12 month is required

Condiciones Laborales

We offer

·  Retribution: 17.700 euros gross per annum + Extra according to the experience·        

. Travel costs to and from the mission,

·    Accommodation and board,

·   Per Diems·         25 working days of holidays per year

·     Breaks (including travel cost to the reference zone, and 200 euros to pass the week of break)·         Travel and accident insurance and repatriation on account of the organization.

  • Extra per month and per child (Under 18 years old  and maximum 3.355€ year per child)

  Requirements:   For candidates who are not in Madrid the first interview will be through telephone. Candidates in short list will have face to face interviews to be held in Madrid.
